The week before break...

The week before break is going to drag on even though it's already 3rd period on Tuesday. We had a 2-hour delay yesterday but the day seemed longer than shorter just because it's so close to Winter Break! You know what i hate the most about the last week before break? There is SO much stuff to do in all of my classes it's very overwhelming. They are all trying to get projects turned in this week and tests done before the break. I know it's a lot better for during the break because then there's no stress but it makes this week a lot worse.

One good thing about this week is that I don't have to work until Thursday this week so I have a lot of time to do the projects and studying I need to do, along with the naps that always make my life that much better! The bad thing is this nasty weather, not because it's so cold or the snow... I've already told you how I feel about that but for my car, Kermit (yes i named my car, shush). Kermit is usually spotless inside and out because he likes to stay clean. Well, this is very hard to keep up on because all the salt and dirt from the snow gets all over the outside of him. Also yesterday, I ran out of windshield whipper fluid and let's just say my windshield looks horrible! Good thing my dad is getting some today when he gets off work :) Now to the inside, I still get all the trash out of my car because I can't stand trash being in my car but it's pretty hard to motivate myself to vacuum the floors and seats and clean the interior when it's freezing outside. It makes me wish that I could take my car inside my house sometimes because it would be a lot more clean right now. I know I'm going to have to man up eventually because of my tidiness but it won't be at it's best until spring rolls around.

I hope everyone is excited about winter break. Happy Holidays to everyone and just enjoy that we won't have to be at this school at 7:35 A.M. for an entire two weeks. Wooohooo!

Snow....

I really can't stand the winter, the snow, or the cold because it isn't good for anything. It just makes us have to wear more clothes, be a lot more lazy, and sometimes i swear I'm just not as happy in the wintertime because of the weather. It's snowing like crazy outside right now and the roads are terrible... but please, nobody get your hopes up because we will have school tomorrow whether you like it or not and i am actually very glad for that!

I went through the scariest thing last week that's never happened to me before! I was admitted into the hospital for my asthma for the first time. I went to urgent care at children's and they decided I wasn't leaving that I had to be transferred to the ER. I don't like hospitals lets keep this in mind, they are just so depressing sometimes. I hate seeing people who are hurt, sick, or who could possibly not make it out alive. I ended up having to stay overnight, and at first I thought it was going to be a horrible thing but it didn't end up as bad as i thought it would.

The coolest thing about it is that I had room service to where i could order anything I wanted off the menu. I mean yeah, it's hospital food it's not the greatest but come on. Room Service? Sweet! I had cable and pretty much laid in a bed the entire time, it was very relaxing. Except for the part where they came to check my vitals every hour, got very annoying especially when I was trying to sleep! The other thing that I couldn't stand is that they wouldn't let me walk to the bathroom (it was literally 10 steps away) instead, they put me in a wheelchair. Must say I was living the life for a little bit except for the fact I felt horrible!

Being in the hospital made me think about what I want to do when I get older. People ask me day in and day out what I want to do when I get older and honestly I still couldn't tell you because there is just so many options out there! One thing I do know is being in the hospital and realizing how thankful I was for the people there to help make me get better that I just might go into a field that involves helping others, especially children. Kids are the one people who no matter what is going on, how tough things are, they always have a precious little smile on their face and it's so heartwarming. I would love to help make others get better and save lives, what more can you ask for?

I just want to let you know one more time how much I hate the snow. I have to drive 5 mph, leave earlier for everything, and everything else! One good thing about snow is it looks gorgeous on the trees that have lost all their leaves and it's just glistening in the sun, beautiful! Geesh, I can't make up my mind about this snow right now so I'm just going to act like it's not snowing and go to bed. And one more time, don't get your hopes up we will be at school bright and early on time. See you all there :)
